But, Mom...It's Saturday!

Hayden's latest excuse when he doesn't want to do what he's told is, "But, mom...It's Saturday."

It really never is Saturday when he says this. I guess Saturday to him is a fun day to do whatever he wants. Anyway, it makes me laugh every time he says it.

"Hayden, come put your socks on so we can go."

"But, Mom...It's Saturday."

"Hayden, stop playing that game and come do your dish job."

"But, Mom...It's Saturday."

And most recently today:

"Hayden, wash that soap out of your hair so I can get you out of the tub."

"But Mom...It's Saturday."

That is too funny! I think everyday needs to be Saturday for me!

I need your help! You seem to change your blog so often and it looks so cute! I have tried and tried to change the background paper...and it never works. It either comes out all white or all one paper that I input...it is so wierd! Needless to say my blog looks stupid right now. Here is my email...kimberly_pettitt@hotmail.com
Thanks

That's hillarious! I wish that every day was Saturday too! No work, sleeping in, etc...that would be heaven. I think I get where he's coming from. :)

He is so smart, normally the first child doesn't learn those types of things as fast. The younger siblings pick it up really fast from the example of the older ones.

Mason (2 years old) has just started saying, "I don't have to" to everything I say. Not fun!

Wow! How manipulative! Does he really think that tactic will work?!!!
