This year was actually pretty fun, so we might be starting a new tradition! Last minute, we decided to go see The Tale of Despereaux and we invited my sister and her husband and son, and my sister, Brooke and brother, Trevor. Afterwards, we got chinese take-out and a couple of movies and went to Eric's parents house to party. (His parents weren't home, but we had permission!) We played games, ate, watched TV, etc. It was actually a good time! Then we had fireworks left over from two years ago that we lit.

ok, woah! you never get babysitters?! that is a total lie, i have babysat for you the past 3 years, this is the 1st one in a while that i was actually a part of thank you very much :D
Sounds like our new years! Just some games and movies with the kiddos, but totally fun!
Yes I have felt the same...Especially with changes brought on by divorce. The problem is how do you except change/ different things. Sometimes change has been brought on as my children got older, got married, ect. Last year I wanted to have some couples over and play some games. I think we got sick with a cold and we changed our mind. Then this year I wanted to do the same thing. However I could not find anyone that was free as they had plans. Then when I gave up; two couples called back and their plans had changed. We ended up going out with one couple and playing games with another. All and all we had a great new Year...followed by a good New Year's Day with our favorites...you guys, FAMILY and of course the pizza.
