My 3 year old Outsmarted me
Today Maya emptied out the whole kitchen garbage can, and unfolded all of the laundry from the basket all before she had even been awake for an hour. Hayden asked me, "Why don't you put her on time out?" To which I replied, "Because she doesn't understand what time out is; it wouldn't make sense to her yet." Hayden then quickly said, "Well, then I don't understand time out either!!" Smart boy, huh?!

LOL!LOL!LOL! That is great! Time out is a challenge for us too because Avery has decided that it isn't a big enough punishment to worry about so she goes and does something she knows she is not supposed to and then when it's quiet I come looking for her and she has put herself in time out.
Well isn't that just the funniest thing I've ever heard. Kids say the darndest things sometimes.
