It was great hearing from you! I am having so much fun learning to blog. Thanks for your comments. I think your children are SO ADORABLE! I can't decide who they look like more...you or their dad. It's a good mix. It's great to see that you guys are doing good and life is treating you good like it should. Talk to you soon! Jods :)
Hi again Brandi! I was wondering if you could give me some advice on where to find a cute header like yours for my blog. I've looked online but there are soooo many and I think my husband is getting tired of me sitting in front of my computer at every spare minute messing with my blog's stuff...ha ha. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jody :)
Jody, All I did was google digital scrapbooking paper and saved a cute paper to my pictures file and then I cropped the paper. Then just go to edit your header and add a picture (your paper). I'm sure there's an easier way, but that is what I did.
I'm so glad that you've enjoyed my blog.... I have to tell you I've gotten every single idea from you and Georgie (they announced their blog site in their wedding invitation - and of course I had to look at it (and keep looking at it - because I am so happy for them). Anyway - I've been so impressed with yours and Georgie's (and Heidi's too)! You are all so creative and talented! I have loved keeping up with your families! And thanks for letting me steal your wonderful ideas! I think you are amazing! I also think your kids are adorable! What a neat family you are! Someday.... I'll have some cute grandkids to put on my blog..... Sincerely, Julie Bushman
"Home is where women have the most power and influence; thereforeNurturing mothers are knowledgeable, but all the education women attain will avail them nothing if they do not have the skill to make a home that creates a climate for spiritual growth. Growth happens best in a "house of order,"Nurturing requires organization, patience, love, and work. Helping growth occur through nurturing is truly a powerful and influential role bestowed on women". -Sis. Julie Beck
"Too frequently, women underestimate their influence for good. Well could you follow the formula given by the Lord: 'Establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God' (D&C 88:119)."In such a house will be found happy, smiling children who have been taught, by precept and example, the truth. In a Latter-day Saint home, children are not simply tolerated, but welcomed; not commanded, but encouraged; not driven, but guided; not neglected, but loved."Thomas S. Monson,, "The Spirit of Relief Society, Ensign," May 1992, 101-102
